Taekwondo

  1. Kalpana of class 9th F got Gold Medal in Interschool competition, Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship, 1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship & Bronze Medal in SGFI all India National Taekwondo Championship under-17 group.
  2. Sharvan of class 8th A got Gold Medal in “Interschool competition”, “Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship” and “1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship” under-17 Group.
  3. Rajnish of class 9th G got Gold Medal in “Inter School Competition 2018-19” in under-17 Group.
  4. Surbhi got Gold Medal in Inter School Competition & Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship and Silver Medal in 1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship.
  5. Shristi got Silver Medal in Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship and 1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship.
  6. Reeya got Bronze Medal Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship and 1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship.
  7. Bhupinder got Bronze Medal in 1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship.
  8. Sakshi got Bronze Medal in 1st Chandigarh Taekwondo Cup Championship.

Fine Arts

  1. Three students were selected under National painting competition on energy conservation.
  2. Kumkum of class IX B got 2nd prize in competition organized by department of forests and wildlife (Chandigarh Administration)
  3. Shivbir of IX B got 3rd prize on 20th November 2018 In Sate Level Kala Utsav.
  4. Ruby of VIII D got 1st prize in painting competition organized by Servants of Peoples Society in Lajpat Rai Bhawan  sector 15 B.

5.“Nukkad Natak” was played in the colony on the theme of “Girl Child Education”.Received applauding response from the audience who  got aware about girl child education and saving their future
6.Sports Day was organized at school premises to motivate the students for performing physical activities  .Medals were given along with refreshment
7.2nd Annual Prize distribution function was smoothly conducted to boost the morale of the students.Trophies were distributed more than 200 prizes were given by Mrs. Saroj Mittal Dy. DSE was chief  guest
8.Organize inter school Yoga Tournament as a convener from 19.08.2017 to 28.08.2017 as well as in national games which were held at Delhi.The tournament was conducted successfully
9.Celebration  of Dewali mela in which Science and maths exhibition are organized.
10.Celebrated  Independence Day and Republic Day making children aware about its importance.School band performance along with Flag hosting done
11.Students of class 8th and  9th  students visited Science City Kapurthala, Punjab.A group of 460 students learn about new technologies in Science to broaden their horizon of knowledge
12.Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan has been completed in school campus.Rallies, Slogan writing, poster making competition, Essay writing competition  organization
13.a. Health check up camp was conducted in the campus by Bharat Vikas Parisar by the experts doctors and spectacles given by them to the studentsb. Health camp was held by senior citizens Mr. Kondal. ENT examination was held by the Doctors from the sec-19 dispensary.

c. Rallies for rubella and measles were organized and albendazlole was distributed to all the students.

14.Public Address System with speakers have been installed .This will helpful in monitoring assembly
15.Workshop attended on CCPCR guidance was given on good touch and bad touch.
16.To improve the quality of education seven key domains were made and Teachers participate to make shaala sidhi project.
16.Counseling and Guidance were given to 9th and 10th class students from various corporate and professors from P.U., Chandigarh University and Infosys etc.Such workshop help in guiding the students for their better future
17.School effort to provide free uniforms, shoes, books and notebooks to 140 students for 9th and 10th classes.The effort was fruit full thanks to the consistent effort taken by the Ladies Club SBI and industrialist Mr. Abhinav Garg and Bharat vikas parisad.
18.Samvedna Eco-Club has been made in the school.To create awareness about herbal and medicated plants among the students. 200 plants were donated by municipal corporation, jan kalyian samity, SBI ladies club, LIC, Boxter company.
19.Primary Students visited ‘Chattbir Zoo, Botanical garden, Butterfly Park, Japanese Garden and High Court.For excursion and to be with nature and to gain the knowledge
21.Bio Metric machine will be installed for punctuality  of the staff.
22.Sensitize the students for Swach Abhiyan doctors from various institutes called in school campus to gave the lecture on Swach Abhiyan.More rallies has been conducted. Swach Ambassadors has been made to keep the school and its surrounding clean.
23.Bala Ji work has been done. Globe installed in the school.Saraswati poster installed.

Walls have been decorated with various national and historical concepts for the knowledge of the students

24.LIC Quiz competition was held. Quiz competition was held in kala gram our school got the first position.
25.In visual art compition at cluster level our school got the second and consolation prize.
26.Dance performance in Dreanz event organization at Maharishi Kashayap Bhawan .Students were awarded with certificate and trophy
27.Participated on the Earth Day conference organized by the department of Environment at Moti Ram Arya Sr. Sec. School.Got certificate for making efforts to protect the world by going green
28.2nd position in Kala Utsav cluster level competition under RMSA at GMSSS sector 38 west Chandigarh.To create the interest of students in Art
29.Students got the three gold medals under different categories at inter school taekwondo competition.
30.Girls students has been given 56 hours training for self defense.
31.Yoga camp was organized by a team of Yog Dhyan for 7 days. 100 T-shirts and bags were given to the students for performing best activities.
32.Vending machine installed for hygienic disposal of sanitary napkins.
33.Two water coolers were installed in school.
34.Library has been set up about 1000 books in school campus for the knowledge of the student.

 

ACHEIVEMENTS BY SCHOOL 2017-18

  • 35 students were given shoes and sweater by bharat vikas parisad.
  • 30 students of class IX and X has given the uniform, books, notebooks, by the SBI Ladies Club Chandigarh.
  • 25 bags distributed by rotary club.
  • Baxter company distributed 700 soaps for hand wash
  • Pooja of Yoga Dhyan Kendra distributed 100 T-shirts and bags to the students. 100 students attended Yoga camp for seven days.
  • Water cooler-2, aqua guard-3, library cabinet-1 donated by Rotary Club and 700 story books and general books
  • Fans-5, Tree guards-5 donated by Lions Club
  • Dust bins -20 (green and blue) donated by Muncipal corporation Jan Kalyan Samiti.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF ECO-CLUB

Herbal garden is constructed in the school and different varieties of medicinal plants were planted and students were made aware of the medicinal values of plants. Different rallies were organized to highlight the issues of pollution. Especially during Diwali Festival “NO CRACKERS” rallies were organized. Students were taken to Nepal forest.

HEALTH ACHIEVEMENT

Complete health check of the whole school by the team of doctors from Fortis, PGI & Dispensary of Dhanas Chandigarh.

Followings areas were covered:

  1. Height
  2. Weight
  3. Eye sight
  4. Dental check up

First Aid Training was imparted to class 9th students. First Aid Team of students was made to help the injured and given first aid help.

Eye camp up & dental check up was organized by Specialist of Bharti vikas parishad. 100 spectacles were donated by Indira Holiday Home.

Dieticians visit was arranged for parents as well as for students. Health related medicines were distributed by the department. Lecture on health and hygiene was organized by Arya samaj mahila sangathan.
